Lexx
Lexx is a science fiction/fantasy television series that chronicles the exploits of a mismatched crew onboard the organic spaceship Lexx. They go across two universes and encounter planets, one of which is a parody of Earth. The series is a Canadian-German co-production with additional funding from Channel 5 in the United Kingdom. In January of 2000, the Sci Fi Channel purchased the series from Salter Street Films and began screening Season 2 episode copies for the American audience. Salter Street Films collaborated with Alliance Atlantis on the production of Lexx. Lexx broadcast on the Alliance Atlantis-owned Showcase network in Canada. Additional filming took place on site in Iceland, Bangkok, and Namibia, in addition to Halifax and Berlin.
