Little Mosque on the Prairie is a CBC-broadcast Canadian sitcom created by Zarqa Nawaz and produced by WestWind Pictures. The filming took place in Toronto, Ontario, and Indian Head, Saskatchewan. The series was chosen for the 2009 Zurich Dawn Breakers International Film Festival. The series finale of Little Mosque on the Prairie broadcast on the CBC on April 2, 2012. Hulu announced in May 2012 that it would begin showing the series under the title Little Mosque in the summer of 2012. Beginning in August 2013, the series will make its U.S. syndication debut on Pivot.
