The History Channel's Lost Worlds is a documentary series that examines "lost worlds" from antiquity to the present day. For these visual re-creations, the "lost world" is depicted in rendered 3D environments and photo-manipulated overlays. On April4,2005, the first episode of "Palenque: Metropolis of the Maya" broadcast on the network. There were 12 more episodes in2006, followed by 19 more in 2007.
