Meet the Browns is an American sitcom created and produced by Tyler Perry, a playwright, director, and producer. The series follows a senior family residing in Decatur, Georgia, led by patriarch Mr. Brown and his daughter Cora Simmons. The show debuted on TBS on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, and ended on November 18, 2011. It's based on his play and subsequent film of the same name. David Mann and Tamela Mann star in the show, which is based on the stage play and film.
