Never Better
Never Better is a British television sitcom that has been airing on BBC Two since the 10th of January in the year 2008. In it, Stephen Mangan plays the role of an alcoholic who is in recovery and Kate Ashfield plays his suffering wife Anita. Fintan Ryan, under contract with World Productions, is the show's writer. It has been said that the show is a "dark sitcom," and it has been likened to other comedies that have aired recently, such as "Lead Balloon" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Critics, on the other hand, have asserted that the show is too similar to the aforementioned types of programs and have attacked the persona of Keith on the grounds that he lacks comedic timing. The sitcom was not well welcomed by fans, as evidenced by the fact that the first season attracted an audience of fewer than one million viewers per episode on average.
