Out There
The socially shy Chad, his younger brother Jay, and his best buddy Chris's coming-of-age mishaps are chronicled. The brothers, who live in the little village of Holford, traverse its bizarre, desolate terrain while they wait out their adolescent years. Along the journey, viewers meet Wayne and Rose, Chad's strict parents, as well as Joanie, Chris's single mother, and Terry, her disastrous boyfriend. They also encounter Sharla, Chad's love interest. The series explores the terrible limbo between childhood and adulthood, when delicate adolescent personalities emerge and re-form, while confronting the pitfalls of adolescence such as puberty, first loves, and social ostracism. As Chad and Chris struggle to navigate life... out there, relive the agony and thrill of those memorable times.
