The plot centers on Yu Narukami, the protagonist, who obtains a mysterious power known as "Persona" and sets out on a journey with his new friends to discover the truth behind a bizarre series of murders involving a distorted TV World. Along the way, they encounter a number of obstacles along the way. The television series was broadcast in Japan between October 2011 and March2012, and it was followed by the release of a film adaptation in June 2012 as well as an original episode of video animation in August 2012.
