During the 2005-2006 television season, The WB network aired a comedy-drama series called Related. It followed the lives of four close-knit sisters living in New York City, all of Italian heritage and raised in Brooklyn. Liz Tuccillo, a former Sex and the City writer, created the show, which Marta Kauffman, a co-creator of Friends, executive produced. Despite extensive promotion, the show's debut ratings were insufficient to justify a second season when The WB network was absorbed into The CW. The Veronicas sang the unnamed Related theme song, which was frequently included in episodes.
