The first episode of the American musical sketch comedy series So Random! aired on the Disney Channel on June5,2011, in the United States. Following Demi Lovato's departure from the show that it was spawned from, it was revealed that it would be a spin-off series. Tiffany Thornton, Sterling Knight, Brandon Mychal Smith, Doug Brochu, and Allisyn Ashley Arm are among the cast members of the series who also appeared in Sonny with a Chance. Other featured actors who appear in the series include Allisyn Ashley Arm and Doug Brochu. Demi Lovato also stars in the series. Over 4.1 million people tuned in to catch the first episode of the new series. On May2,2012, Tiffany Thornton said that the show would not be returning for a second season since the network has decided not to renew it.
