A traveling merchant named Lawrence who is out to make a profit discovers a naked girl wearing the ears and tail of a wolf sleeping in his cart while he is on his way. Her name is Holo, and she is a goddess of the harvest who harbors an untamed beast within her. She has a strong desire to go back to the cherished house she once had in the north. A common peddler and a long-forgotten divinity set out on an adventure across the untamed countryside, the former using his street smarts and the latter relying on her animal instincts. Along their route, the bounties of happiness will be reaped, even as the emptiness that lurks within the human heart is brought into the light.
