Yoon Jung Sook is born into a traditional Kwon family, and Kwon Hyuk Joon's grandfather decides to arrange a marriage for his grandson, Hyuk Joon, and Yoon Jung Sook. When Jung Sook's family runs into financial difficulties shortly after signing the contract, the two families are unable to stay in touch and the relationship comes to a premature end. After 18 years, Jung Sook has matured into a strong-willed and rebellious young woman who just wants to live her life the way she sees fit. She is the antithesis of Hyuk Joon, who has high ideals but has few ambitions of her own. As soon as Hyuk Joon and Jung Sook come face-to-face for the first time since their breakup, the two are instantly at odds. However, they do get married.
