Takeshi's Castle

Takeshi's Castle was a Japanese game show that ran on the Tokyo Broadcasting System from 1986 until 1990. It starred the Japanese actor Takeshi Kitano as a count who lives in a castle and makes it hard for players to get to him by putting up obstacles. The show is now a cult favorite all over the world. As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations for TBS, a special live "revival" was shown on April 2, 2005.
