The Amazing Race Asia
The Amazing Race is a reality television show about a race between two Asia is an American reality game program modeled on The Amazing Race. AXN Asia, an Asian cable television network, was one of the first to secure the rights to develop a version for its areas. The show is co-produced by ActiveTV, an Australian television production firm, and Buena Vista International Television-Asia Pacific for AXN. Allan Wu, a Chinese-American actor from Singapore, is the show's host. The grand reward is$100,000, compared to $1,000,000 on the American version. "It's not really about the money," Ricky Ow, general manager of SPE Networks-Asia, which owns AXN, explained the lower prize, "but it's about the adventure and opportunity to be in one of the world's biggest reality series."
