The Border

The Border is a Canadian drama that was shown on CBC TV and 20 other networks around the world. It was made by White Pine Pictures' Peter Raymont, Lindalee Tracey, Janet MacLean, and Jeremy Hole. Janice Dawe is in charge of production as a manager. John Fawcett, Michael DeCarlo, Ken Girotti, Kelly Makin, Brett Sullivan, and Philip Earnshaw all directed episodes in the first season. The whole budget for the first season was $20 million, or about $1.5 million per episode. The show takes place in Toronto and follows agents from a made-up agency called Immigration and Customs Security. The Canadian government made ICS to deal with things like terrorism and smuggling that happen across borders and affect Canadian national security. After three seasons, the CBC said that The Border would no longer be on the air.
