As the newest addition to SANCCOB's chick bolstering team, Michaela will learn why penguin numbers have fallen and what can be done to save them. SANCCOB (South African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds) rescues hundreds of penguin chicks whose parents can't feed them due to bad weather. 500 vulnerable chicks must be saved, cared for, taught survival skills, and released back into the wild over a 6-week period.
