Ye Xiu is the top player for a Chinese esports team that dominates the "Glory" multiplayer game. His gaming career appears to have come to an end when he is kicked out of his squad, which is eager to sign a lucrative sponsorship deal that he is adamantly opposed to. Dejected, Ye Xiu finds a work at a late-night Internet cafe, where he develops a friendship with the owner, Chen Guo. Chen Guo eventually exposes her plan: Ye Xui will lead a new "Glory" team. Will Ye Xiu return to his glory days in "Glory"? And can he find–and train–enough new comrades to help him return to the top of the national rankings...and get revenge on his unfaithful old teammates?
