A multi-camera comedy about a sports-crazed Boston family whose athletically challenged son, Ronny, gets picked to be his assistant high school basketball coach. Ronny wants to go away and join the singles scene. Marjorie's furious not because her favorite son is gay, but because he wants to leave Boston and his family. Arthur's choice for Ronny's assistant is politically wrong and vocal, changing Ronny's plans. Ronny's family, particularly his twin brothers Sean and Gerard and his sister Jackie, will have strong opinions regarding his decision.
