American sitcom Three's Company ran on ABC from March15,1977, to September18, 1984. It's based on the British sitcom Man About the House. The story is about Janet Wood, Chrissy Snow, and Jack Tripper, three single people who live together in an apartment building owned by Mr. and Mrs. Roper in Santa Monica, California. After Suzanne Somers left, Cindy Snow was played by Jenilee Harrison, who was later replaced by Terri Alden, played by Priscilla Barnes. After the Ropers got their own sitcom, Don Knotts joined the cast as Ralph Furley, the roommates' new landlord. Ralph is the brother of Bart Furley, who just bought the building. The show, which is a comedy of errors, is about the three friends' constant misunderstandings, their social lives, and their struggle to pay the rent.
