ThunderCats
ThunderCats is an American/Japanese animated TV series. ThunderCats, a revival of the 1980s TV series of the same name, mixed western and Japanese animation. The series premiered July29, 2011 on Cartoon Network. After the devastation of their home, the realm of Thundera, the ThunderCats must traverse Third Earth to confront Mumm-Ra, who aims to take over the universe. The series takes a darker, more dramatic style than the previous program, focusing on characters and more intellectual issues. ThunderCats art-director Dan Norton confirmed the show's cancellation after one season in early 2013. Adult Swim's Toonami programming broadcast reruns.
