Tokyo Ghoul
Ken Kaneki is a bookish college student who meets Rize at a coffeehouse. They're the same age and have similar hobbies, so they quickly become friends. Kaneki has no idea that Rize is a ghoul, a type of monster that feeds on human flesh. When a piece of her particular organ-"the red child"-is transplanted into Kaneki, he transforms into a ghoul, locked in a distorted world where humans are not at the top of the food chain.
