Transporter: The Series is an English-language French-Canadian action-adventure TV franchise based on Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen's film series. It's co-produced by Atlantique Productions and QVF Inc. alongside M6, RTL, The Movie Network, Movie Central, and HBO/Cinemax. The series continues the adventures of Frank Martin, a freelance courier who will deliver anything, anyplace for the appropriate amount and lives by three "unbreakable" laws he continuously breaks. Chris Vance replaces Jason Statham as Frank and is accompanied by Andrea Osvárt, who plays Frank's former CIA agent love interest and mission organizer, and François Berléand, who reprises his role as Inspector Tarconi. Twelve episodes cost $40,000,000 (€30,000,000) in 2012. The show debuted on RTL in Germany on October 11 and M6 in France on December 6. HBO Canada and Super Écran 1 premiered on January 4, 2013. Sony PIX began broadcasting in India on January 25, 2013.
