Zeke and Luther is set in the northern portion of Gilroy, California, in the fictitious neighborhood of Pacific Terrace, which is frequently referenced throughout the series. Gilroy was also periodically mentioned in the Disney Channel sitcom Even Stevens, which was also developed by co-creator of Zeke and Luther Matt Dearborn. The episode "Bros Go Pro" was made available for free download on iTunes at the start of June, two weeks prior to the show's broadcast on television. The series began in the United States on June 15, 2009. On August 2, 2010, it was reported that the third season of Zeke and Luther would broadcast on February 28, 2011. In an interview published on Deadline.com on June 18, 2011, Matt Dearborn stated that the show's third season would be its final. The show is presently the longest-running original series on Disney XD and the first to reach a third season. The series finale aired for one hour on April 2, 2012.
