When Officers Schmidt and Jenko go undercover at a nearby college, their lives are about to take a dramatic turn for the better, after having already navigated their way through high school (twice). They start to have doubts about their partnership, though, when Jenko discovers a kindred spirit on the football team and Schmidt integrates himself into the bohemian art major environment. Now, in addition to solving the mystery, they need to determine whether or not they are capable of having a healthy relationship with one another. College may turn out to be the most beneficial experience of their lives if they are able to mature into responsible adults while still in their first year of study.
