A Christmas Wish

MARTHA EVANS has been left homeless and virtually penniless by her ne'er-do-well husband, who has taken all of their money and left her with her two daughters and stepson. Martha leaves town in search of work and a place to stay, and she eventually finds work in a lonely rural cafe known for its home-made root beer. However, with her car broken down and bills piling up, it appears like the Evans family would be facing a gloomy Christmas.
