A Clockwork Orange
Young Alexander DeLarge and his mates in a near-future Britain get their pleasures by rapping and bashing up on anybody they choose. Alex swoons to Beethoven's music when he's not wrecking the lives of others. In order to combat youthful delinquency, the state offers an incarcerated Alex the choice of undergoing an intrusive surgery that will take away all of his personal agency. Can Alex change his mind in an age when conscience is a commodity?
