Martial has been released from a mental institution where he had been for several years due to a severe nervous breakdown. When he returns home, he finds his mother, a busy businesswoman who owns a supermarket chain, convinced that if he is given some responsibilities, he will be able to rediscover himself. Soon after, he's dispatched to Limoges on a business trip to inspect one of their stores in the hopes of reviving the failing enterprise.
