A Haunting in Cawdor
Vivian Miller (Young) is a 20-year-old woman on work release in the Midwest. Her 90-day probation takes her to the Cawdor Theater, run by Lawrence O'Neil (Elwes). Lawrence, a failed Broadway director, now stages amateur performances with young parolees while reliving his past sins. A horrific chain of events begins when Vivian arrives in Cawdor, revealing Lawrence's hidden past. A power of evil is unleashed after Vivian watches an old filmed stage version of Macbeth. Vivian, with the help of local outcast Roddy (Welch), sets out to find the mysterious killer on the tape before she becomes the next victim.
