A Moon of Nickel and Ice
It was built in Siberia above the Arctic Circle because there were a lot of nickel and other metals there, so it was built. Between 1930 and 1950, some 650,000 Gulag prisoners built it. Today, it's still an open-air cage, surrounded by a glacial landscape filled with pain and history.
