Aftermath
Nine strangers find themselves holed up together in a farmhouse cellar in rural Texas, looking for a happy ending to a story of unimaginable disaster and horror. The United States has hurriedly entered World War III. Hunter, a young doctor, survives the nuclear attack and is thrown together by chance with a group of wounded and terrified victims, including Elizabeth, Hunter's strong-willed confidant, Brad, an antagonistic redneck jackass, and Jennifer, a barely coherent young woman suffering from severe post-traumatic stress. They attempt to survive the devastating holocaust while dealing with claustrophobia and conflicting personalities. Hunter and his dying companions wait for news from the government in a makeshift shelter, fending off hunger, radiation sickness, and a swarm of terrified and dying refugees.
