Aircraft Carrier Ibuki

The story takes place over the course of 24 hours. Hateruma archipelago is unexpectedly occupied by 20 fishing vessels of an unknown nationality in the southernmost region of Japan. Japanese coast guardsmen have been arrested and are being held. Aircraft Carrier Ibuki and an escort force are dispatched by the Japanese government as tensions mount. Ryota Akitsu (Hidetoshi Nishijima) is the captain and Toshiya Niinami (Kuranosuke Sasaki) is the second-in-command of the Aircraft Carrier Ibuki. At 6:23 a.m., Japan faces a day it has never experienced before.
