All Night Long

Executive A 24-hour drugstore has a night manager named George Dupler. When he gets angry, he is demoted to the job. He tells his son Freddie to stop having an affair with suburban housewife Cheryl Gibbons, a distant cousin. Cheryl then tries to get George. He accuses his dad of stealing his girlfriend when he saw Cheryl serve George dinner in the middle of the night, while her husband Bobby was at work at the fire station. This is what he says to his mother at home: When Helen doesn't want to stay with George anymore, he leaves her and quits his job. He moves into a warehouse, and he asks Cheryl to join him.
