Pastor John (Robert Amaya) and his wife Betsy (Erin Bethea) do the unthinkable in order to see their church grow: they change their church's Christmas pageant. Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn), the choir's elderly director, is taken aback and decides to boycott. Facing dismissal, Pastor John disguises himself as an elderly man in order to bridge the generation gap, win over Mary, and lead the choir back to the church. When he discovers that the wounds are deeper than he thought, Pastor John must learn to love the unlovable or risk the ruin of his church and family.
