Amazing Grace and Chuck

Chuck Murdock,12, of Montana, becomes apprehensive after viewing a Minuteman missile on a school field trip. His team loses a Little League game because he refuses to play baseball to protest nuclear bombs. "Amazing Grace" Smith, a fictional Boston Celtics player, resigns from professional basketball to join the boy's protest. This provides it national exposure, prompting more athletes to join the anti-nuclear demonstration. Finally, the President of the United States meets with Chuck, praising his determination while emphasizing the real problems of disarmament.
