An Innocent Man
Deputy Jimmie Rainwood was doing his own business when two dishonest police officers broke into his home, believing they were in the presence of a major drug dealer. They had the wrong address, and they were expecting to find one. Rainwood is shot, and the officers mistakenly accuse him of being a narcotics dealer. Rainwood is convicted of narcotics trafficking on the basis of fabricated evidence provided by a police informant. Thrown into a squalid prison, attempting to prove his innocence is difficult when he has to face with the realities of prison life, where everyone believes they were framed.
