VALLANZASCA is a true story set in the 1970s in Italy about the most infamous bandit of the Italian underworld. Renato Vallanzasca, a criminal since the age of nine, grew up to become the country's most notorious mobster by the age of 27. A string of high-profile robberies, kidnappings, and murders gave Vallanzasca and his gang control of the Milan underworld. He enchanted the people in the process, earning the moniker 'il bel Renè' for his devilish charm and attractive looks. His spectacular prison escapes infuriated the authorities, enraged his competitors, and fuelled his reputation.
