April in Autumn
To help her sister, Sara, care for their mother, April comes back to Toronto after living and working abroad for a long time. Their mother is having problems with the way her body works. As soon as April comes back to the house, she literally unearths old family secrets that could upend the peaceful balance of the house. A homeless man named Erik may have a connection to Sara's mother's past. April, on the other hand, isn't sure if she wants to marry her long-distance boyfriend Oscar, who she met while on a trip. The story ends on the eve of their mother's birthday dinner, when Oscar shows up from Argentina and Sara's homeless friend comes to the party.
