Bobby Funke, a teenage reporter, decides to investigate and identify the person responsible for the theft of copies of SAT examinations from the office of a principal. Bobby publishes an essay in which he accuses Class President Paul Moore of being the thief, causing the youth's reputation to be ruined. But when Bobby gets to know Paul's girlfriend Francesca, he comes to the conclusion that he was incorrect about Paul. As a result, Bobby decides to find out who the real criminal is.
