Asteroid: Final Impact
Although a devastating meteor storm has been declared a one-time cosmic event, astrophysicist Steve Thomas fears something worse is on the way. Steve discloses the facts to the public after learning his asteroid monitoring satellite is being secretly utilized for military surveillance, costing him his reputation, his career, and his friends. With the stigma that comes with being a whistle-blower, the pressure threatens to pull his family apart, just as Steve discovers a threat to the entire planet: a large dark asteroid unseen to current detection systems is on the verge of colliding with the Earth. Steve is forced to labor in the shadows in a desperate bid to preserve humanity after being denied the use of his own satellite to confirm the asteroid's presence.
