At War for Love

The year is1943, and Europe is in the throes of World War II. When Arturo and Flora, a restaurant owner's daughter, fall in love in New York City, Flora is engaged to the son of the Mafia's boss. Flora's father, who is a small-town Sicilian, must give Arturo permission to marry his daughter before the union can take place. Enlisting in the U.S. military is Arturo's only option for getting to Sicily because of his lack of funds.
