Avalon
He made four "Baltimore films" that were mostly based on his own life: Diner, Tin Men, Avalon (1990), and Liberty Heights. Avalon is the third of these films (1999). The movie is set in Baltimore in the early 1950s, and it talks about how Jewish people can adapt to life in the United States.
