Balloon
In a daredevil attempt to flee the GDR in a homemade hot air balloon, two families are killed when the balloon crashes just before the border with Poland. The Stasi discovers evidence of this attempt to flee and begins an inquiry right away, while the two families are forced to construct a fresh escape balloon from scratch. A nerve-wracking race against time begins as the Stasi closes in on their pursuers with each passing day.
