Banana Joe
Banana is portrayed by Bud Spencer. Joe, a brawny but pleasant man who lives in a small jungle community named Amantido with a large family and delivers bananas to a South American river port on a regular basis (hence his name). Torsillo's henchmen land in Amantido one day to start building a banana processing business. Of course, Joe evicts the goons (in his customary direct-approach fashion), who soon return to their master. Torsillo discovers Joe is trading bananas without a license and decides to take advantage of the situation. Joe is apprehended by the authorities on his next delivery and offered the option of getting a legitimate license or having his boat taken away and him arrested for unlawful transport. Joe journeys to the next city, which is a whole foreign world for him, having grown up in the rainforest.
