Beasts of the Southern Wild

Six-year-old Hushpuppy lives in a remote southern Delta town known as 'the Bathtub,' where she and her father Wink are surrounded by water. A moment will come when Wink's severe love will prepare her for the disintegration of the universe. Climate change unleashes an army of prehistoric monsters called aurochs when Wink becomes ill with an unidentified illness. Hushpuppy sets off to find her mother, Wink, as the waters rise and the aurochs approach.
