Before joining forces with Michael and Fiona, Sam Axe served as Commander Axe, U.S. Navy SEAL. This documentary chronicles the story of Sam Axe's transformation from renowned Naval Commander to the man of mystery we've come to know and love from the television series Burn Notice. The "Espada Ardiente" is a violent terrorist outfit that operates in the Colombian woods, and Sam is dispatched there to examine their allegations. This will be Sam's final military operation (Flaming Sword). His mission: to decide whether or not U.S. military assistance is required to counter the threat. The situation, however, is more convoluted than he had anticipated when he arrived. He receives word that the insurgents have targeted a small civilian clinic deep in the woods, which he promptly flees from. To save the clinic's doctors and patients from probable death, Sam must now act swiftly and decisively. However, nothing is as it appears, and it is possible that the Espada Ardiente is not the most serious threat Sam Axe is up against right now.
