King Peter, a well-known explorer, has taken Chickenhare in as his own son through the adoption process. To avoid the taunts of his peers, he disguises himself as a hare, a creature that's half chicken, half hare. Despite his disguise, Chickenhare fails horribly at the Royal Adventurer Society trials. On the other hand, he is resolute in his mission to seize a second opportunity and locate the Scepter of the Hamster of Darkness before his nefarious Uncle Lapin. The Scepter will grant its owner tremendous power. If Lapin is able to get his hands on it, he will be impossible to stop. Along for the ride are his loyal servant Abe, a snarky turtle, and Meg, a skunk who is an adept in martial arts. He is about to go on an epic and initiatory quest.
