Chihayafuru Part I
Chihaya Ayase met Arata Wataya in the sixth grade of elementary school. Fukui Prefecture transferred Arata Wataya. Taichi Mashima has known Chihaya Ayase since they were children. Arata met Chihaya and Taichi through the card game karuta. Chihaya is now in high school, four years later. Chihaya discovers that Arata, who has returned to Fukui Prefecture, no longer plays karuta. Chihaya and Taichi start a karuta club at their high school, hoping to meet Arata again.
