Children of the Sea

Ruka is an eight-year-old girl whose parents are divorced and whose father works in an aquarium. When two boys, Umi and Sora, who were reared by dugongs in the water are brought to the aquarium, Ruka is captivated to them and realizes that she, too, has a special connection to the ocean. Umi and Sora's unusual ability appears to be linked to strange events that have been occurring increasingly regularly, such as the appearance of sea creatures far from their home zone and the disappearance of aquarium animals worldwide. However, the precise nature of the boys' ability and the strange incidents is unknown, and Ruka becomes engrossed in unraveling the mystery that surrounds her new pals.
