Christmas Encore
"A Christmas Carol" is a modern adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic tale, and a struggling actress is placed in it as her final off (off) Broadway performance before giving up her dream and returning to her hometown. Instead, she discovers romance with her director, as well as a rekindled enthusiasm for her trade and for the city. Her and her fellow cast members, however, are in desperate need of a Christmas miracle when the historic theater loses its lease and the performance is forced to shut down.
