It has been a long time since Whitney Kennison (Tiya Sircar) had time with her family. She is leaving New York to spend Christmas with her grandmother in Chicago (Diane Ladd). Because Frances is so happy that her granddaughter is home for the holidays, she gives Whitney the Kennison family Christmas ornaments. But when Whitney accidentally throws out the box of ornaments, Grandma Frances has to come up with a fun Christmas scavenger hunt to show Whitney what the holiday is all about. She comes up with the idea when Whitney isn't looking. It's a race against time as Whitney gets her family's ornaments back, finds love, and learns the lesson Grandma Frances tells her granddaughter.
