City on Fire
It is hard for Ko Chow, an undercover cop, to get by. It's his job to infiltrate a gang of jewel thieves, but Inspector Lau wants him to get some handguns first. His girlfriend wants him to marry her or she'll leave Hong Kong with another man, and other cops don't know that he's a coworker. Chow would rather leave the force than stay. When he has to betray people he's become friends with, he feels bad. "I do my job but I betray my friends," he says. Fu, a member of the group who is also friends with him, adds to his woes.
